tourism incentives

IQuad Investment Incentives has represented over 500 South African hotels and guest houses.

What we do

IQuad Investment Incentives (Pty) Ltd administers a variety of incentive programmes for clients in the manufacturing and tourism Industries.

Government, through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), provides incentives to companies involved in the manufacturing and tourism sectors. The objectives of the programmes are to attract foreign direct investement and to create employment opportunities.

Many companies fail to benefit from these incentives and rebates due to ignorance, misinformation, or because they lack the capacity to meet the onerous administrative requirements.

IQuad Investment Incentives (Pty) Ltd (formerly Indevco Incentives) acts as an intermediary between qualifying companies and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to ensure that these companies access the official investment incentives offered. Qualifying companies may be new enterprises or undergoing significant expansions of their operations.

IQuad Investment Incentives assists qualifying companies by identifying the relevant incentives or rebates, applying on behalf of the company to government, and once approved, processing of the claims to final receipt of the incentive.

For example, small and medium sized companies engaging in manufacturing and tourism are eligible for a tax-free cash grant of up to R30 million in terms of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Enterprise Investment Programme.

To date our clients have received:

  • R2.6 billion in incentive payments over 22 years
  • R690 million in Import Rebate Credit Certificates in 2010
