Cash in on incentives
Many small and medium companies (and some large ones) are not aware that they could qualify for a tax-free cash grant.
In fact, those involved in manufacturing and tourism could be eligible for a grant of up to R30 million thanks to the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI’s) Enterprise Investment Programme (EIP).
The programme provides a cash-based incentive to companies engaging in manufacturing and tourism through two sub-programmes. These are the Manufacturing Investment Programme (MIP) and the Tourism Support Programme (TSP). Qualifying companies in these sectors can receive the tax free incentive.
